Erasmus+ is the European Commission’s program covering the fields of Education, Training, Youth, and Sport. This program contributes to a key goal of the European Union: developing a knowledge-based society by providing high-quality education and lifelong learning opportunities to European citizens.
KES College encourages participation in this program, especially for its students and graduates, as mobility abroad significantly increases career prospects alongside the experience gained.
Former Erasmus students, particularly those who have spent an extended period outside their home country, often succeed in finding employment related to skills acquired or enhanced during their studies or internships abroad.
The European Commission has approved KES College to participate in the Erasmus+ program for 2021–2027, granting the College the relevant accreditation. Subsequently, KES College signed the Erasmus Charter.
This approval allows KES College to engage in various European activities (e.g., student mobility, participation in multilateral projects and networks, etc.) in collaboration with other European higher education institutions. These actions aim to improve education quality and facilitate the development of innovative practices in higher education and training.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, the European Commission has adopted a general policy aimed at integrating people with disabilities into all its activities. The participation of both students and staff with disabilities in any program activities is encouraged through additional support measures.
In addition to the standard support for travel, accommodation, and living expenses available to all participants, individuals with disabilities may receive funding for extra costs arising from their specific needs.
Such costs may include:
Interested students with special needs should apply for additional funding based on estimated costs through the College’s Erasmus Office. This additional funding is provided via their institutions through the Lifelong Learning Program, and will be made available to eligible participants following the usual approval and disbursement procedures of the institution.
Students who receive such additional funding should note that funds are based on actual costs. Therefore, upon their return, they must submit all receipts for the additional expenses incurred to their institution. The final eligible amount approved by the institution, based on the submitted documentation, will determine the final funding provided.
Experiences of Students and Staff from Erasmus Participation
As part of the celebration of 30 years of the Erasmus Program, KES College has prepared a video showcasing the experiences of both students and staff participating in Erasmus.
This video was created with the help of students from the “Journalism with Public Relations” study program, under the guidance of their professor, Mr. Christoforos Roditis.
