    Dr. Savanna Andreou, is a Senior Lecturer at KES College since September 2023, teaching Toxicology in the 4-year Program (Bachelor degree) Medical Representatives Management. Dr. Andreou holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine (2019) and an M.Sc. in Molecular Medicine (2015) from the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. In 2014, Dr. Andreou was awarded the B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, from the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. Since 2019, Dr. Andreou is a research scientist contributing to various research projects in the fields of human genetics and animal genetic improvement. Dr. Andreou has worked as laboratory scientist and researcher at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, where she contributed to the publication of research material in international scientific journals. She has also participated in international scientific conferences with both oral and poster presentations on her research work.

    Short CVMr Charalambos Assos is a Lecturer at KES College since 2018.  In 2003, he was awarded his degree “Master of Education in P.E.” from the University of Semmelweis. He is currently in the process of completing his Master’s Degree Special Inclusive Education from the European University of Cyprus. Mr Assos has a SHO 1st Dan in Karate. Since 2014, he works as a fitness coach and personal trainer at a gym. In 2017, he represented the National Team of Cyprus at the Bodybuilding contest abroad. He teaches courses of his specialty.

    Short CVMr. Andreas Constantinou has been a Lecturer at KES College since 2019 specialized in Physical activity for people with special needs. He graduated from the T.E.F.A.A  Trikala, University of Thessaly (Department of Athletics and Physical Education). During his degree, he completed his internship at the Wheelchair Basketball club “Asteras Trikalwn”, at the 1st Primary school of Trikala, at the Psychiatric Clinic “Ayia Anastasia” and several more. In 2013, he completed a Masters of Arts in special needs at the University of Nottingham and worked as a volunteer at the Bluecoat Academy Secondary School. His interest in sports began at the age of 9. He started with swimming, and then, 3 years later went on to continue as a 400m hurdle athlete for 10 years. His participation in body building and fitness resulted in him gaining the 2nd and 3rd position in his category (Men’s Physique up to 1.74cm) in 2014 and 2015 respectively. His involvement in Crossfit, became the catalyst for his interest in weightlifting, in which he has been involved for the past 4 years. He is currently part of the Cyprus National Team and has been able to reach 1st place in the general classification. Since 2013 he was working as a gymnastics trainer and as of 2018 he owns The Train Station Gym. He teaches subjects of his specialty.

    Short CVMr. Christos Constantinou is a Lecturer at KES College since 2018. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Nutrition (2015). He is currently in the process of completing his Master’s Degree in "Exercise and Performance" of the International Sports Nutrition Organisation and Middlesex University. Mr. Konstantinou has several awards in the field of sports, some of which are:

    -Cyprus champion in the sport of physique in the Junior category 2013

    -2nd place in the Mediterranean games in the sport of physique in the Junior category 2013

    -Champion 2017 in the sport of Dynamic Triathlon in the "Bench Lift" category

    -Champion 2017 in the sport of Dynamic Triathlon in the "Deep Sitting" category

    -3rd place in STRONGMAN 2018 where he is among the strongest athletes on the island.

    Mr. Konstantinou received a cultural award in 2010 by his Municipality "for his achievements in letters, arts and culture".

    Mr. Constantinou is the president of the Cypriot Dynamic Triathlon Federation, a recognised Federation by THE Cyprus Sports Organisation. He is a Member of the Cyprus Nutrition Association and is the Managing Director of ADVANCED NUTRITION SCIENCE. He is one of the founding members of the ATHLETES INNOVATION GROUP, a group of scientists whose main goal is the development and evolution of sports and collaborates both with professional athletes and trainees who want to test their limits.

    Short CVMs Froso Costa-Ioannou is a Senior Lecturer at KES College and the Programme Coordinator of the programme of study ‘Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Coach’ since 2018. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1999) and a postgraduate degree in Exercise and Health from the same University (2003). Since 2010, Mrs Costa-Ioannou is an international presenter in Group Fitness and works as a Head Trainer at the Les Miles. Moreover she is certified by Grafts HELLAS in the field of aerobics and Personal Training. Mrs. Ioannou is a certified trainer from Stott Pilates in the field of Reformer jumpboard interval training and Athletic Conditioning. Between 2006-2009 she taught Physical Education at a Private Institution in Secondary Education and since 2015 she is teaching subjects in relation to her qualifications in the Higher Education sector. She has participated in numerous seminars and conferences in relation to her subject area.

    Short CV: Mr Demetris Demetriou is a Lecturer at KES College since 2015. He is in possession of a Post Graduate Degree in Εducational Leadership and Politics from Cyprus Open University and a Degree (BSc) in Accounting and Finance from University of North Texas. He is an Accounting Lecturer in numerous educational institutions from 1992. Moreover he worked as an Auditor from 1988 to 1991 acquiring significant experience on issues related to his profession. He also participated in numerous seminars whereby, he had the opportunity to enrich his knowledge and improve his skills. He is accredited by the Human Resource Development Authority as an internal trainer.

    Short CV: Ms Ioanna Farkonidou is a Lecturer in the Beauty Therapy Sector at KES College as of 2020. She holds an honors BSc Degree in Business Administration from the American University in Washington D.C. as a Fulbright Scholar. She was employed in the Banking Sector from 1994 until 2013 during which she became a fellow of the Institute of Bankers Diploma (England). She also holds an honors Bachelor's degree in Beauty Therapy and Beauty Therapy Units Management (4 years), a Higher Diploma in Beauty Therapy (3 years) and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy (2 years), as well as Diploma qualifications in ITEC (England). She has participated in several Educational Seminars in the Beauty Sector both in Cyprus and abroad.

    Mrs Cynthia Georgiou is a Lecturer at the College of KES from 2023. She holds an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from Frederick University of Cyprus (2021) and a BSc in Pharmacy from European
    University Cyprus (2019). She is currently doing an MSc in Pharmaceutical Biosciences and Pharmaceutical Development at the European University Cyprus. Since 2018 she has been working as a Pharmacist. She has done an internship in a private pharmacy and in the German Oncology Department of Limassol, while within the framework of her Master's Degree she has done an internship at the Hippocrates Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Phoebus Simeonidis, at the Institute of Neurology and Genetics under the supervision of Ms. Elena Kkouli, and at the Oncology Department of the Bank of Cyprus under the supervision of Ms. Stavroula Kitiri.  She has worked as a pharmacist at Eva Fragoulis Pharmacy and later as Head Pharmacist at Sunrise Pharmacy. Since 2022 she has been working as Head Pharmacist of the Cyprus Anticancer Association, managing the clinical Pharmacy of Arodafnousa.


    The topic of study for her diploma thesis was: The role of the clinical pharmacist in the international health care system and her interventions in the medication of patients (bibliography). The topic of study for the master's thesis was: Vitamin D and brain function. Its association with Mental and Neurodegenerative diseases. In addition she is a member of the Local Infection Control Committee for the Arodafnousa Hospital (Ministry of Health Committee). She is also responsible in the health services accreditation processes of the international organization "Accreditation Canada" for the following: Department of quality optimization of medicines quality, handling safety and procedures/protocols to ensure the safety, quality, handling and administration of medicines.

    Short CV: Dr Nicos Georgiou is a Senior Lecturer at KES College since 2009. He has a Doctorate Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing. Mr Georgiou has ample research activity having assumed the role of assistant researcher in a number of programs from 2005 to date. He has ample teaching experience in the field of psychology and has worked for the Public Service and the State Prison as a Psychologist. During his career he has given a number of presentations on several topics related to his profession and has also published several articles.

    Short CV: Ms. Andria Kalatha is a Lecturer at KES College during the period 02/2017 - 05/2018 and the current academic year 2021 - 2022. Ms. Kalatha worked as the Head of the Human Resources Department in a large Private Hospital. She continues her career in the Health Sector and currently she is working in the public health sector. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. She has also earned an MBA from the University of Cyprus, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour from the Cyprus International Institute of Management and a Master’s Degree in Communication and Journalism from the Open University of Cyprus. She has extensive teaching experience in the education sector since 2012 and has lectured professionals from various sectors such as Hotel Management, the food industry and the health services sector. She has an energetic personality, always willing to learn more and share her knowledge at the same time.

She has also received Certificates in Food Safety and Hygiene and contributed to research work by undertaking various surveys. From 2015 she works as an external consultant at Q-Point BV on food quality assurance issues.

    Short CV: Mr. Marios Koutzis is a Lecturer at KES College. From 1990 - 2004 he was a basketball athlete and was a player of the teams ENAD, APOEL, National Basketball Team of Cyprus Mrs. From 2002 - 2007 he worked as a Gymnast and since 2007 he is the owner of Oxygen Gym.     Dr. Louca Maria, is a Senior Lecturer at KES COLLEGE since 2022. She holds a degree since 2015 in Biological Sciences, Excellent, 1st in the ranking of students. Since 2020, she holds a PhD about the involvement of proteins in the aggressiveness of glioblastoma, brain cancer, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing of the University of Cyprus. Dr. Louca holds scholarships for the completion of her doctoral studies and is active in research in the field of cancer and epigenetics. He has worked for 5 years as a teaching assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Cyprus and 2 years as a teaching specialist in higher education. Dr. Louca has participated in scientific conferences in Cyprus and the Netherlands and has been awarded with the 1st prize for poster presentation. She has published scientific works from 2017 until today with over 210 scientific references (h-index 8). Also Dr. Louca is a Reviewer in a scientific journal. She teaches classes of her specialties.

    Mrs Semeli Louca is an English Lecturer at KES College. She has studied English language and literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2014), while she continued her studies with the completion of a master’s degree in Educational leadership and management at CIIM in 2021. She is also a holder of the Celta certificate (Cambridge University), a qualification for teaching English as a foreign language. She has also attended seminars/workshops related to her field. Additionally, she has working experience as an English teacher from 2015 at private and state Institutes, and from 2022 she began working as an English lecturer in higher education.

    Brief Curriculum Vitae: Mrs. Mikaella Mitsinga is a Lecturer at KES COLLEGE since the current academic year (2022). Since 2014, she holds a Master's Degree (MSc) in Cancer Therapeutics at Barts Cancer Institute, one of the top cancer institutes in the UK and a CRUK centre of excellence. There, she completed a research project, investigating drug-resistant mesothelioma cell lines (ADI-PEG20 drug agent) (was in Phase II clinical trial). Part of the project published in Cell Reports in 2016. Most recently, she completed her course in Pharmacy (BSc) at the European University of Cyprus and is now doing her internship at a pharmacy in Nicosia. There, she successfully completed a project reviewing data for breast cancer genetic alterations. Previously in 2013, she graduated from the University of Huddersfield in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with main academic disciplines in Organic Chemistry, Formulation and Pharmaceutics, Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry. Since 2014, she was a Medical Representative and then promoted as a Medical Representatives Supervisor in a Pharmaceutical Company based in Nicosia. She teaches classes of her specialties.

Dr. Miliotou holds a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Molecular Diagnosis, at the School of Pharmacy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has also a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, at the University of Thessaly. She has contributed to the co-assistance of teaching the Laboratories of Pharmacology I & II, for undergraduate students, while she has trained a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Laboratory of Pharmacology, Department of Pharmacy, University of Thessaloniki.     Graduated from University of Leicester (UK) – BSc Computer Science (2007) and BSc Communication, Media and Society (2010) and completed numerous workshops and training courses, some of which are Computing with Python, Image Editing, Practical Applications & Strategies of Digital Marketing, Search Engines and Marketing for social media.

    Short CVDr Polydoros Polydorou is a Senior Lecturer at KES College since 2015. Moreover he holds an undergraduate qualification (BSc) in Neuroscience from Manchester University.     Short CVDr. Demetrios Sarris is an Academic Scholar with +15 years research experience, participating in over 20 international and national research projects and has developed international collaborations with scientists from Switzerland, USA, France, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus and Greece. Publications of his research teams have a significant impact and are featured in leading scientific journals, with research findings having been presented in +30 primarily international conferences. He is also a reviewer for more than 10 international journals and has designed and supervised over 30 Thesis. Trained in Switzerland (Inst. of Botany, Univ. Basel) and Greece (Dept of Biology, Univ. of Patras) in Biology (BSc), in Ecology and Environmental Management (MSc) and in Dendro- Ecology/Climatology and Plant Science (PhD), he has been employed: (i) at the Dept of Biological Sciences of the Univ. of Cyprus (having held the positions of Assistant Professor-Academic Visitor and Special Scientist for Research & Lecturing), (ii) at the Open Univ. of Cyprus (as Academic Coordinator, Adjunct Faculty Tutor & Master’s Thesis Supervisor of the Environmental Conservation and Management Postgraduate Program), (iii) at the Dept of Life Sciences, European Univ. of Cyprus and (iv) at KES College in Cyprus (as Coordinator of the Environmental Management and of the Organic Products Technicians’ Programs). Mrs. Schiza has completed her studies in Athens, Greece where she obtained in 2010 her degree in Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology at TEI of Athens, Greece. Moreover, she holds a master's degree in Aesthetic Care and Exercise in Health Promotion and Stress Management from C.D.A. College (2016). Mrs. Schiza was working as a Beauty Therapy Lecturer between 2013 and 2016 in another higher academic institution in Cyprus. Since 2023, she is also a Lecturer in KES College, teaching subjects of her speciality.

Mrs Shiarly is a holder of a postgraduate qualification (MA) in Educational Science and Educational Leadership and a holder of a Degree in Beauty Therapy. She has participated in Seminars and Educational Programs, acquiring a number of Certifications in Beauty Therapy Methods such as Laser and IPL, Herbal Therapies, Spa Therapies, Professional Makeup and more, but also in Education as well as in Health and Safety. She has written a number of textbooks on Beauty Therapy that are used by students. She has also published articles in the press on Beauty Therapy and has significant teaching experience in Higher Education Institutions.

    Dr Vaso Stylianou is a Senior Lecturer at KES COLLEGE from the current academic year (2022). Dr Stylianou has worked in several sectors of primary and secondary health care. Currently, she is working as a nurse in at the Accurate Health Auditing and Consulting Company since 2022. Dr Stylianou research interest concerns Organ and Tissue Donation and general interventional programs in health issues. She teaches classes of her specialties.

Ms Sophocleous is a holder of a PhD with the topic: Associations between Cypriot’s children television food advertising exposure and their eating behavior: An observational and diagnostic survey with the use of questionnaires and eating behavior tests in 1088 Cypriot children.     Mrs. Chrysi Tomouzou is a Chemistry Lecturer at KES College since 2023. She holds a Master's Degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of Cyprus (2021) and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Biological Chemistry from the University of Cyprus (2017). She teaches subjects of her specialty in both the School of Health Studies and the School of Environmental Studies. She worked from 2017 until today in the field of education both in secondary education and in higher education. Moreover, she was employed by the State General Chemistry from 2021-2022. She participated and is still active in various educational seminars in the field of Chemistry both in Cyprus and abroad. She is still pursuing the research track in Chemistry through various research projects.

He also worked as the Head of the Marketing & Subscriptions Service Department at CreditInfo Cyprus from 2004 to 2008 and at Leptos Group of Companies as a Marketing Executive from 2000 to 2002.
