Participation of KES College in the European Program Erasmus+ “Online Schooling”

KES College participates in the European Program Erasmus+ "Online Schooling", in collaboration with:

• - Střední průmyslová škola chemická - Czech Republic
• - Abidin Pak Pakmaya Anadolu Lisesi - Turkey
• - Byåsen videregående skole - Norway
• - Valgamaa Kutseoppekeskus - Estonia

The aim of the program is to highlight various tools that will offer teachers and learners the skills and competence to teach and learn, respectively, online.

Emphasis is placed on promoting the professional development of teachers in terms of providing high quality online teaching and learning, but also on the methodology of developing online courses. At the same time, the program aims to bridge the gap between teachers and technology to ensure successful teaching, as well as to develop available open educational resources.

In addition, it seeks to support students in acquiring professional and transversal skills, in self-assessment and in preparing them for new ways of learning. The aim is to increase students' motivation to study and to promote teamwork at national and international level.

Finally, it aims to enhance the use of the internet and various digital tools for teaching and learning, but also to facilitate interactive information sharing and collaboration within the World Wide Web.

Target groups of “Online Schooling”:

• - Teachers, implementing online schooling.
• - Students from vocational schools attending online learning.

Project Activities:

• - Creating a Manual for teachers
• - Writing a Guide for assessment
• - Collection of Curriculum Resources and Live Resources
• - Development of Digital tools for online teaching
• - Evaluation Forms

In summary, the program is expected to launch a process of professional development of teachers, through the cooperation of partner schools, and to integrate online teaching and assessment successfully and with high quality in education. Regarding students, their active participation in the learning process and the development of skills will be encouraged, aiming help them to be successful in their future jobs, to become responsible citizens, and attractive to the international and national labour market.
